Business Justification
Current server infrastructure is approaching end-of-life (purchased Q3 2020) and cannot support the organization's growing workload demands. The existing servers experience regular performance degradation during peak hours, affecting 150+ users across 4 departments. The new Dell PowerEdge servers provide 3x performance improvement with enhanced redundancy. The network switch upgrade is required to support 10GbE connectivity to the new servers. UPS units ensure business continuity during power events. This upgrade aligns with the IT Infrastructure Modernization roadmap approved by the board in Q1 2026.
